Urology Department asks League of Friends for Help
The Urology Department at the Alex has been working towards the early diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. As the equipment needed is extremely expensive, League of Friends was approached to see if we could help.

Working in partnership with WAHT, League of Friends was able to contribute £58,400.00 towards the purchase of a Transrectal Prostate Biopsy Machine in order to help gentlemen living in Reddich and the surrounding area who may be exhibiting symptoms related to prostate cancer.
