Since the knitting sales started in the Coffee Shop they have really taken off and gained momentum raising much needed funds for the League.

The total to date is in excess of £1500 with the highest single day’s takings being £231.50. When the sales first started they only sold baby wear but by public demand the range has now expanded to include blankets, dolls clothes and, shortly, dogs coats!

All items are knitted by a wide circle of ladies and clubs who give their time, and in most cases the items, free of charge. Pauline, who runs the sales would like to thank all the “knitters” for their hard work and Margaret Pritchard for her invaluable help on sales days.
